The merchant is a fruit processing factory in Yunnan. In Q3 of 2025, it expanded its Pinduoduo channel, mainly dealing in products such as freeze-dried mangoes and dried strawberries. In the early stage, due to a lack of brand awareness, simple logistics packaging and a single marketing approach, the monthly sales volume was only 600 orders. Moreover, the negative review rate exceeded 5% due to transportation damage, making it difficult to break into the lower-tier markets.
Core operation strategy
1. Supply chain and pricing optimization: Highlight the advantage of "direct supply from origin", eliminate intermediate links, and set prices 15%-20% lower than similar products; Launch a combination of "50g sample size at 9.9 yuan" for traffic diversion and "250g family size at 39.9 yuan" for profit to meet different needs.

Emphasize "no additives, non-fried" on the product detail page to align with the trend of healthy consumption. In collaboration with Pinduoduo's "Duoduo Orchard", set up "Orchard Coupons" to attract precise users.
3. Logistics and after-sales upgrade: Assist merchants in upgrading vacuum independent packaging + foam box protection to reduce the rate of transportation damage; We have enabled "Bad fruit compensation" and "7-day no-reason return and exchange". Our dedicated customer service will respond to after-sales inquiries within one hour and handle negative reviews promptly.
Project outcome
After four months of cooperation, the monthly sales volume of the store increased from 600 orders to 21,000 orders, and the GMV exceeded 750,000 yuan. Freeze-dried mango slices became a bestseller in the "freeze-dried fruits" category on Pinduoduo, with monthly sales exceeding 10,000 pieces.
The transportation damage rate has dropped from 5% to 0.8%, the negative review rate has been controlled below 0.5%, and the store DSR score has increased to 4.8 points.
The traffic share of Duoduo Orchard has reached 28%, and the repurchase rate has increased from 7% to 16%, successfully opening up the demand for agricultural products in the lower-tier markets.
